One Roof ("the app", "we") is a private family organizer — a shared space for your household's calendar, shopping list, budget, pets, documents, family profiles and quick nudges. This policy explains what we collect, how it's used, and your choices. Questions: one.roof.family.organizer@gmail.com.
We do not use advertising or analytics tracking SDKs, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell your data.
Your data lives in our backend (Supabase / PostgreSQL) and, for files, in private storage. It is transmitted over encrypted connections. Access is restricted by row-level security so that only members of your own household can read your household's data.
When you use the camera to scan a receipt or bill, or use the "just type it" nudge box, the image or text is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic (Claude), to extract the details (amount, date, category, or a suggested message) and return them to you. Per Anthropic's API terms, this content is processed to serve your request and is not used to train their models. Scanning is optional — you can always add entries by hand.
Reminders (pet-care due dates, upcoming calendar dates, family nudges) are optional. If you enable them, we store a push token for your device to deliver them, and remove it when you disable them or delete your account.
You can delete your account at any time in the app: Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your account and your personal records. If you are the last member of your household, the entire household and its data are deleted. This cannot be undone.
One Roof is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13. Any information about children in the app (for example a family member's or pet's details) is entered by a parent or guardian who manages the household.
We may update this policy; we'll revise the date above when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
